THE ORDER IS SUBJECT THAT THIS BAND WAS THE BIGGEST IN INFLUENCE OF ALL ROCK IN SPANISH. WE CONSIDER THAT MUSIC IN SPANISH MUST HAVE A PLACE IN THE HALL OF FAME, AND THE ONE WHO BEST REPRESENTS IT IS SODA STEREO.

SODA STEREO WAS RECOGNIZED AND TYPEENED BY LARGE BANDS AND ARTISTS OF INTERNATIONAL LEVEL, AS COLDPLAY, ROXETTE, U2, PINK FLOYD, SHAKIRA ETC.

IN ADDITION, THE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL CREATED A SPECTACLE IN TRIBUTE TO SODA STEREO, THING THAT HAD ONLY BEEN DONE UNTIL THE MOMENT ONLY WITH THE BEATLES, MICHAEL JACKSON AND ELVIS PRESLEY.

WAITING FOR AN ANSWERLY ANSWER TO THE SAME AS THE MILLIONS OF STERA STEREO FANS, I HAVE REMOVED VERY CORDIALLY.

Es la banda que enseño a todo un continente que podia haber rock en español mucho antes que aparezcan MTV y las redes sociales, recorrieron desde Estados Unidos a Tierra del Fuego, incluso España.
Con solo 7 discos de estudio mostraron como evolucionar disco a disco marcando tendencia en cada uno de ellos.
Tienen records de convocatoria, aun hoy siguen vigentes y siguen ganando publico que jamas los pudo ver en vivo.
Son reconocidos por artistas internacionales como Bono Vox, Coldplay, Roger Waters, Depeche Mode entre otros.
Gustavo Cerati es la VOZ del rock LATIONAMERICANO.
Nadie mas que SODA STEREO merece ese galardón.

To become a rock legend is an extraordinary feat reserved only for those with exceptional talent and an impacting influence over thousands of fans and other music performers. Achieving musical greatness, massive success that spans several decades that even today keeps adding new fans, and built a legacy that will live forever, is something that should be recognized. But to achieve this in countries where rock was a genre not commercially supported by recording labels, mass media, or concert promoters, and still throughout an entire continent reach the same recognition and massive popularity as rock giants such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, The Police, or U2, is something that should not just be recognized, but celebrated. If we add that Soda Stereo achieved all of these by singing on Spanish, which gave a few generations of Latin american youngsters an own identity by being able to enjoy the genre they learned to love with Soda Stereo in their own language, is something that goes beyond any description of positive permanent impact, and a key element in the growth of rock as a successful genre in Latin America and Spain.

Convertirse en una leyenda del rock es una hazaña extraordinaria reservada sólo para aquellos con un talento excepcional y una influencia impactante sobre miles de fanáticos y otros artistas musicales. Alcanzar la grandeza musical, el éxito masivo que abarca varias décadas y que aún hoy sigue sumando nuevos fans, y construir un legado que perdurará para siempre, es algo que debe reconocerse. Pero lograr esto en países donde el rock era un género musical no apoyado comercialmente por sellos discográficos, medios de comunicación, o promotores de conciertos, y aún así en todo un continente alcanzar el mismo reconocimiento y popularidad que gigantes del rock como The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, The Police, o U2, es algo que no sólo debe reconocerse, sino celebrarse. Y si a eso le sumamos que Soda Stereo logró todo esto cantando en español, lo que le dio a varias generaciones de jóvenes Latinoamericanos una identidad propia al poder disfrutar del género musical que aprendieron a amar con Soda Stereo y en su propio idioma, es algo que va mucho mas allá de cualquier descripción de impacto positivo permanente y un elemento clave en el crecimiento del rock como género musical exitoso en América Latina y España.

Es una banda única, responsable del nacimiento del rock en Español reconocido como un movimiento masivo de este género musical, en un continente dónde poco se escuchaba este género y logro que no solo su país sino que todo el continente los incorpore logrando una cantidad de público extraordinario que aún sigue creciendo a pesar de haberse disuelto la banda. Una banda que lo merece por el reconocimiento y el crecimiento que tuvo a base de esfuerzo y talento. Reconocida por muchos artistas importantes de la historia de la música y por empresas enormes, como el circo du Soleil que trabajo en muy pocas oportunidades con artistas del género musical y lo hizo también con soda stereo, simplemente espectacular.

Es broma verdad???? Con bandas como super Super Tram, Styx , Simply Red,Sade y solistas como Boz Scaggs, Dione Warwick, por poner ejemplos, los cuales son músicos que han trascendido a nivel mundial sin ser integrantes del salón de la fama del rock and roll, que les hace pensar que soda stereo tiene los méritos para estar ahí? No niego que fueron buenos y tuvieron éxito…pero hay niveles!!!

Rage and Priest also hit the diversity quota as well. Priest because well Rob Halford of course being LGBT+. Rage has race in Zach (Mexican) and Tom (mixed). With how the predictions are going, the class has already hit the female quota. The race quota could be filled with Lionel Richie, but he has a fatal flaw: Richie is not exactly a critical darling. According to Acclaimed Music, Richie is actually lower than JP which is interesting as JP are notoriously not favored much with critics. So I see JP overcoming Lionel in the long run. Rage is it's own entity so I doubt (not confirm but doubt) they will split votes with Priest. Those are more thoughts I have.

Con bandas como Styx, Super Tramp, Simply Red, por nombrar algunas y solistas como Bozz Scaggs , Sade por nombrar otros que han dejado huella a nivel mundial, pensar que esta banda tiene el nivel y los méritos para estar en el rock and roll hall of fame se me hace una falta de respeto total…
