What I want to know is "How do we start the campaign to get Los Lobos inducted (not just nominated) into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. If any group deserves it, it's Los Lobos.

Started out playing traditional Mexican folk music, plugged it in. Created their own music(Kiko), played on Graceland. Continue to create and tour. Together 45 years - get them in the HOF

I would agree on all the qualifications to get in.

Almost every Latin rock band in Los Angles and else where/ are influenced by their endless years of music!

Los Lobos is one of most doubtful bands on my list. If they do get in at some point, then Beck should be their inductor - he’s a huge fan of those guys.

Criminal they are not in the rock and roll hof. So many great songs, so diverse. Very well respected by musicians. More should lobby for induction. Very deserving

Los Lobos has played together for 45 years! They are a true legendary band and deserve the accolades. Time to acknowledge! I am sure there is a line of musicians and stars who would be glad to induct them.

The rock and roll hall of fame has never been predominately about musical excellence. Record sales are much more important. Mojo Nixon said it all in his song "Rock and Roll Hall of Lame."

A great band. David
Hidalgo is a great songwriter, musician, and singer. Cesar Rojas is an exceptional singer and musician. Perez a great writer and drummer. I dont understand why they have not been inducted.

Los Lobos have been playing rock music for 50 years infusing it with Mexican, Jazz, Zydeco, Country sound. They have been playing at the Newport Festival every year for over 40 years. Their album "Kiko" is critically acclaimed and they tour incessantly for their fans. They have joined forces with The Chieftans, Los Super 7, Sesame Street, Pee Wee Herman, SNL, and opened for The Rolling Stones and U2. They are the soundtrack behind the rise of American Hispanic/LatinX culture of the 80's-present. C'mon RRHOF-get with the program.

Nothing I can say matters. "How Will the Wolf Survive", "Kiko", "Colossal Head" "The Neighborhood" " Just Another Band From East L.A." "The Ride" "Tin Can Trust" 12 Grammy nominations, four grammy wins. 50 years of amazing music. As the music critic on "Fi" magazine always says in his reviews of Los Lobos albums. "I know you've heard me say this many times before, but this is their best yet."
