Definitely should be inducted in 2022, and should have been in years ago. Such a good band, and sadly some of their hits have been lost in time. "Pulling Mussels (from the shell)" is an absolute banger and there's no disputing that. Hopefully we'll see some wrongs righted soon enough

Genuinely shocked Squeeze hasn't been inducted! If the Go-Gos can be inducted, I would think Squeeze would have been in before them.

Squeeze is awesome. Let them in. They are solid like the Pretenders and Elvis Costello. Such a great sound from these guys. Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook have held their own coming up on 5 decades.

I saw Glenn Dilbrook tonight at Daryl's House in Pawling, NY owned by Daryl Hall. He was amazing! A true rock and roll hall of famer! Great energy, great singing and musicianship, Squeeze's songs are incredible and their lyrics are so unique! Very British! They totally deserve to be in the hall of fame.

Forget that they haven't been inducted. They have never even been considered for induction. they aren't even on the list of snubbed artists. I don't get it. Squeeze belongs in the hall.

Squeeze are a very literate, melodic pop/rock band in a similar vein to The Beatles, The Kinks, The Jam etc. The trouble is they're simply TOO BRITISH to be embraced by the America-centric voters of the r&r hof. As much as I love them, I don't think they have had the crossover appeal required to get a nomination. To be honest though, who cares? It doesn't stop the fans from enjoying their music. It's the loss of the rock hall.

Catchy , Loveable, Colorful and a staple on Rock Radio around the world for over four decades. SQUEEZE is over quaklified for such a thing as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

When I look at some of the members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame I have to wonder what it takes to get in when a group such as Squeeze has never even been considered. 4 decades of music and a phenomenal live show group who has a large following of loyal fans. They should be at the top of any musical groups for nomination.

The Rock Hall Of Fame is a meaningless honor and a joke to musicians. A private club / business entity that supposedly validates a band's career with this "honor" is ridiculous. Anyone who appreciates Squeeze is not upset by their exclusion to the "Hall of Fame."

Shocked this band have not been considered. Difford and Tilbrook should be considered in the same writing class as Lennon and McCartney or John and Taupin.
Someone in the know should address this travesty ..

Squeeze is well worthy of induction. Difford and Tilbrook may be the best British songwriting team since Lennon-McCartney and Elton-Taupin. Jools Holland is a star in his own right, as noted by the list of performers who have been on Later with Jools. Commercial success eluded the band, but that doesn't seem to have kept plenty of others from being inducted. Their exclusion is a travesty, and gets worse as the years go by (and more acts become eligible)

They are not getting in. Much more respected in the UK. They ultimately didn't have enough record sales and hits to even warrant a nomination (huge backlog of bands with better resumes).
