Very happy birthday to Lloyd Price! Such an underappreciated figure in R&B and R&R. Gave us the original "Lawdy Miss Clawdy" which is one of foundation stones in building rock and roll. John Lennon covered his "Just Because" on his album Rock And Roll. "Stagger Lee" is of course a famous and once-controversial song. My personal favorite is "Where Were You On Our Wedding Day."
