Let's pay our respects to one of the three most important record labels (The other two are Atlantic and Chess) and listen to the greats! I'm currently listening to Roy Orbison: The Sun Years as I type this tribute. Posted by Zach on Wednesday, 03/27/2013 @ 11:47am |
Had Sam Phillps only discovered Elvis Presley, he would've earned his spot in the Hall of Fame, but his record label also hosted singers like Jerry Lee Lewis And Carl Perkins. His Sun Studio was the place where such rock and roll classics as "Blue Moon of Kentucky" and "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" were recorded. Posted by Andrew on Wednesday, 03/27/2013 @ 12:58pm |

I'm so sorry Zach, but I wasn't able to tune in to your show because I was in school at 2:00. I'll see if I can tune in on Saturday night. Posted by Andrew on Friday, 03/29/2013 @ 12:00pm |
