To all of you PATHETIC HATERS! Kelis has done a hell of a lot more than you people would ever know. She is very underrated and it's a shame that you people don't even know that the female artists you all praise so much copies off of her! Not to mention I bet none of you bastards even heard the entire album "Tasty", "Wanderland" and "Kaleidoscope". But your so quick to judge. Posted by Aero on Saturday, 06/29/2013 @ 07:58am |
My fav female artists are Bjork and Joanna Newsom, I don't think they're copying off of Kelis. Posted by GFW on Saturday, 06/29/2013 @ 08:33am |
Yea - my favorite female artists are Janet Jackson, PJ Harvey, Aimee Mann, Bjork, Robyn and Alanis Morissette. I'm fairly confident that none of them have copied Kelis. Posted by Mike on Saturday, 06/29/2013 @ 09:25am |
For me, Siouxsie Sioux, PJ Harvey, Sinead O'Connor, Fiona Apple, Bjork, Anita Lane, the Slits, St. Vincent, Lykke Li, Tegan & Sara, Poly Styrene, Dusty Springfield, Francoise Hardy, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Edith Piaf, Big Mama Thornton, Etta James, the Ronettes, Martha and the Vandellas, Patti Smith, Zola Jesus. I'm not really hearing that Kelis influence. Posted by DarinRG on Saturday, 06/29/2013 @ 15:59pm |
