Please consider so much musical excellence, Light My Fire, Feliz Navidad, interpretaions of so many songs and original hits, California Dreaming, The Star Spangled Banner. His 1968 rendition was the first public interpretation of the song and he was black balled for it, pure racism because they said at the time he "sang it black". He would have had a ton more hits but for this prejudice by radio stations to boycott his music! He was a a leader, ahead of his time, a musical genius and virtuoso guitar player.
