Are you serious! How can you not have kid rock in future eligibility listing????? Posted by Kevin Cummings on Saturday, 08/18/2018 @ 00:09am |
Kid Rock has been eligible since 2015 and he is listed in that year. Posted by Zuzu on Saturday, 08/18/2018 @ 00:58am |
I cast my vote for Pink Posted by Vivian Katherine Williams on Wednesday, 03/23/2022 @ 15:05pm |
The majority of the world has no idea who The New Pornographers were accept for a handful of people. Linkin Park is the stand out of this class by far. 3 Doors Down, Lamb of God, and especially Disturbed are the greatest names in rock of this group. But I can see the Hall choosing Pink and Ryan Adams as the go to acts. But not because of making great music, but because they were top forty pop acts. At current, Alicia Keys & The Strokes & The National are the only conceivable future nominees/inductees from this list. Posted by |

New Edition need to be on the ballot. The last significant R and B group with multiple success since the 80's and 90's compared to other R and B boy bands that came after them. Since the Jackson they ushered in the 80's 90's boy band. Without their success you wouldn't have had NKOTB, 98 DEGREE, NSYNC or THE BACKSTREET BOYS. Why is Beck not a nominee? Posted by James Arahill on Tuesday, 06/3/2025 @ 05:10am |
My selection would be from the "light rock era", like Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell, Neil Sedaka. the Osmond Brothers, Jim Croce, Three Dog Night, Toto and Diana Ross. I know you'll probably select a heavy metal band, hip-hop band and a soul singer. I forgot, the Big Bopper must be added to as a major influence. Tori Amos should be inducted way before British Sea Power or The National. COME ON. Posted by Tracie Renee Scheiding on Wednesday, 07/2/2025 @ 21:24pm |
INXS Posted by Alec Vaely on Wednesday, 07/30/2025 @ 22:34pm |
That's really hard to believe that you have not even considered the Monkees I know you've had problems with them, but they did go out and they do play their own instruments and they have written songs so you have to stop being snobs and put them on the list so we can vote for them even though I know it's totally up to the board but give us a chance we have a group why aren't the Monkees in the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame I believe me there's a lot of us in this group so could you please put their name up so we can vote for them and let people know exactly when they can start voting it's exhausting every year that we don't see them Posted by Maryann Holland - McLean on Thursday, 09/11/2025 @ 12:50pm |
Not having Jethro Tull on this or any list from the last 20 years is a joke. Please correct your mistake and include them Posted by Skip quale on Friday, 10/3/2025 @ 12:36pm |
All the people being discussed debuted before 2001. It's not whether they were eligible in 2001 - its whether they were *first* eligible in 2001. And Etheridge, Monkees, Jethro Tull, Motley Crue, Tori Amos, et al all debuted before 2001. Posted by SotN on Friday, 10/3/2025 @ 14:57pm |
Your continued snubbing of TOTO for the RRHoF is beyond comprehension! TOTO has more hits than most bands already in the HoF, and are still touring after 40 years, also eclipsing most -- not to mention their top individual session work on 100s of hits for everyone else is unmatched. TOTO IS THE BEST BAND. GET THEM IN BEFORE EVERYONE IS GONE! Posted by Jeff Porcaro on Saturday, 11/8/2025 @ 16:18pm |
You would think a band with 18 studio albums would've already been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but they haven't been. This notion that "he's already in the Hall of Fame with another band" is totally irrelevant. The music and talent of this band has stood the test of time, through the good times and bad. This band isn't just one person! This band isn't attached to another band in no form or fashion! This band has its own sound & artistry's! This band formed a genre that's still alive today, but they're still not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Until this wrong has been corrected, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will continue to be a joke to many, many Americans and countless fans that have followed this band since its inception! The band I'm talking about is the one and only.............. Posted by Billy Denham on Sunday, 11/9/2025 @ 18:58pm |
Who ever heard of these people and bands? For me, you have Toto, The Turtles, Three Dog Night, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Jim Croce, Sonny & Cher, The Pointer Sisters, The Fifth Dimension, The Commodores and Johnny Rivers. I love classic rock and these are the acts who deserve to be in the hall of fame of 2026 and beyond. If it weren't for these acts, the acts you selected choices wouldn't exist. Selecting non-rock and roll acts show that your committee isn't take all this seriously. For me the the greatest selections started in 1986 and lasted for 20 years later. Neil Sedaka????? Posted by Richard Paré on Wednesday, 11/26/2025 @ 09:07am |
I hope everyone realizes, this is for NEW eligibles. If they first released music in the year 2001, they are on this list. If the first music they made was made before 2001, they are on a different list. Posted by Chingle on Wednesday, 11/26/2025 @ 09:32am |

What is the Criteria to be considered for induction? No other group has done what New Edition has done collectively and individually. For over 40 years they continue to sell out arenas and stadiums yet they have been overlooked year after year for others who have not reached the pinnacle the group has reached. Thank you for any information you are able to provide. Posted by Karla E. Taylor on Monday, 01/12/2026 @ 20:07pm |
Hey, here's a list of Singers that needs to b Nominated & Inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame, Styx, Poison, Toto, Boston, Kansas, Reo Speedwagon, Motley Crue, Lita Ford (Solo) Phil Collins (Solo), Don Henley (Solo), there's more that needs to b but this is my list so far for now, Thanks. Phil Collins should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because the Face Value album is 45 yrs old. Everyone recognizes the drum part from In The Air Tonight and he's a great musician Posted by Cherie Craighead on Monday, 02/2/2026 @ 12:25pm |
Phil Collins is long overdue for a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his solo career. Come on what are you guys waiting for? Posted by Sharon Corcoran on Monday, 02/2/2026 @ 13:01pm |
Why is Phil Collins not on this easy to vote artist list? Why do the Strokes get Large Billing? Posted by Diana DiTacchio on Monday, 02/2/2026 @ 16:35pm |

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert DO NOT belong in the rock n roll of fame let alone be on this list Posted by Corbin on Monday, 03/2/2026 @ 01:31am |
I think Miranda Lambert is pretty badass and will have a case for the Hall. Induction doubtful, but she has a case, IMO. Posted by Paul in KY on Monday, 03/2/2026 @ 13:26pm |
