With the passing of legendary sax player Wayne Shorter today, it only feels right to induct them into the hall!

Ask any musician from their era and they will tell you Jaco and Weather Report had an influence on them.
How can Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ignore that

First fusion jazz act with breakthrough commercially (not counting Miles Davis)

I know they won't be included anytime in the future, but they are great and important
