In just 3 or 4 years the Left Banke had more incredible songs than just about any other bands not named The Beatles. That they are not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame is a crime

I hear your point, Kevin Knox, but mostly it's not members of the Left Banke you're hearing on those recordings. It's session musicians. Impressive song-writing but the musical excellence is kind of second-hand.

The Left Banke invented baroque rock infusion. They were influenced by the groups like the Beatles, Beach Boys, Mamas and the Papas and created a unique style that was their own.

The Left Banke was an act of genius. This is why it is imperative that this important and phenomenal group be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. IMMEDIATELY!!!
