The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame website says Chicago's legacy lives on with artists such as Journey, Toto, and Sufjan Stevens.

Sufjan Stevens seemed to be one of earliest hipster folk acts who paved the wave for bands like Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes (which I couldn’t get into that kind of music cause it’s watered down and trendy enough not to listen at least for me), but I can’t picture him getting nominated and inducted at first year - he’s too small and obscure.

Only the critics know who that guy is, so I could see him in a Tom Waits-like situation years from now. But I do see Linkin Park, Interpol and maybe Pink being nominated six years from now though.

Yes, he's too small and obscure, but his music is very worth listening to. He is very creative. He has multiple solid albums.
