Shakira for the Rock n roll hall of fame! I don't know why she didn't come to mind before. Its probably because of being a classic rock fan but still love Avril lavigne ect. Shakira now comes to mind and deserves to be inducted in the hall of fame. I hope they do consider her and take it seriously. She doesn't only sing Latin music. Shakira does put out Rock pop albums too and I think she's one of the Greatest professional singer artists in the world today. Not to mention being the judge on the voice. Go Shakira!

Shakira has indelibly transformed the landscape of popular music, embodying the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's core values of influence, impact, innovation, and legacy.

Since her debut in 1991, she has built a career of over three decades, breaking cultural, linguistic, and gender barriers. With genre-defining albums such as ¿Dónde Están los Ladrones? and Laundry Service, Shakira fused pop-rock with Latin rhythms, Middle Eastern elements, and introspective ballads, creating a signature sound that has inspired artists worldwide.

Her achievements speak for themselves: over 125 million records sold, status as one of the most awarded artists on the planet, and chart-topping success across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa. She has performed on the world's most significant stages, from three FIFA World Cups to the Super Bowl halftime show, introducing Latin music to global audiences at an unprecedented scale.

Shakira's enduring influence, cross-cultural reach, and fearless artistic evolution place her firmly among the most important figures in modern music history—making her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame not just deserved, but essential.
