Just a thought Posted by Tyler Partnow on Tuesday, 08/28/2018 @ 08:58am |
In order to qualify as early influence, an artist needs to be pre- rock and roll or before 1955. Posted by Zuzu on Tuesday, 08/28/2018 @ 09:10am |
Yes: during the 60s & 70s, artists bands like The Yardbirds, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors & John Coltrane were heavily influenced by Indian music with Ravi being one of the main Indian artists they credited. Norwegian Wood by The Beatles is a raga rock song influenced by Ravi's sitar playing. Posted by |
