I was watching a short documentary on disco music recently and Peter was featured in the segment, when he was shown in the studio putting together his biggest hit "Dance With Me". It showed how shrewd he was behind the scenes and all. That and "Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me" would be his only two hit songs, though he would have minor dance hits until the mid-80s. Then he left the music industry, although he is probably still collecting royalty checks for his co-songwriting credit for Madonna's "Material Girl". He came back and did one more album in 2018.

I have read interviews and articles about Mr. Brown and some have went as far as calling him the "pioneer of home recording" which seems to be the norm today in the music world, but was unheard of back in the 1970s. If there is a disco/dance Hall of Fame, he would be great in it.
