Saw this band at Voodoo Music Festival. Have previously seen them twice at Riverbend, but this was 1st time seeing them after they got rid of the losers. Young man standing beside me said for him & those in his age group, this was the biggest band of the weekend.

They played right before NIN, to a mostly pro-NIN crowd, and they tore it up. Had the crowd clamoring for more by end (and a NIN crowd isn't in Paramore's wheelhouse as far as friendly audiences go). Hayley was as good as I've ever seen her. Since it was Halloween (or just after), she was rocking a getup that reminded me of Priss in 'Blade Runner'. She is very, very hot.

Played mostly songs off most recent album. Hayley has a little Taylor Swift in her, in that she writes & plays music that her old bandmates might not like.

After seeing them again & how much they rocked, I gotta wonder 'Who in their right mind would quit a band like that?!'

Note: Hayley started out set wearing leather jacket with 'Grow Up' spray painted on back. She doesn't go for subtlety.

I started listening to Paramore in 2007 around the release of "Riot!". I went to my first Paramore concert in 2009. Since then, I have seen the drama the band has gone through and the subsequent albums, all of which sound better than the one before it. Paramore has one of the best live shows today, which is why I try to see them whenever they pass through my area (5 shows and a cruise, and I still want to see more). If I was to answer if they were ready for induction right now, my answer is no. However, people thought they peaked in 2007. "Ain't it Fun?" is now their most successful song to date, and their popularity only seems to be going up alongside each greater milestone that they accomplish. I think given that they have another 16 years to go, as well as given that they are the most popular female fronted rock band in the mainstream music world as of right now, Paramore will have a fairly strong chance of induction come 2030. Here's hoping at least. :)

Might not mean anything, but Hayley Williams is being given a Billboard Music Award in the "trailblazer" category for her influence on women performers and for her contributions in multiple musical genres.(pop, rock, funk, hip hop, country, edm, etc). Would that count under the "influence" section of the Hall of Fame? Considering that most of this was done within the band, I would think this would increase Paramore's chances of future induction into the Hall of Fame

Some funny comments here. Back when they were new, not much hope. But almost a decade later, they (as far as recent rock bands go) are at the top of their game. If they have at least 2 more albums as great as their last 2, should go in with ease. Check back in 15 years and see if I'm wrong.

Dude, they'll be at Bonnaroo in June. Playing on the What Stage (the main stage). I expect a massive crowd for the set. The band is from TN, so I expect Full-Metal-Jacket-Paramore.

Have seen them 5 times & have NEVER been disappointed.

@ Paul

I’ve seen Paramore live once along with NIN at Voodoo Fest in NOLA back in 2013 - they were pretty good.

10 years ago, I wouldn't have been stumping for Paramore's inclusion. Now though? Yeah, definitely. Crazily consistent band and they're only getting better.

Misery Business * Crushcrushcrush * That's What You Get * Decode * Ignorance * Brick by Boring Brick * The Only Exception * Still Into You * Ain't It Fun * Hard Times * This Is Why

Those are their essential songs

To me, their 'essential' songs are: 'Looking Up', 'Misery Business', 'Crushcrushcrush', 'Fences', 'Born For This', 'All We Know', 'Pressure', 'Careful', 'Ignorance', 'Brick by Boring Brick', 'Where the Lines Overlap', 'Fast in My Car', 'Grow Up', 'Daydreaming', 'Ain't It Fun', 'Anklebiters', 'Proof', 'For a Pessimist I'm Pretty Optimistic', 'Hallelujah', 'Miracle' and 'Caught in the Middle'.

More than enough for HOF right now.

I'm Shane and I love Paramore, they're better than Limp Bizkit

A lot more popular than you'd think. Definitely, a favorite of today's generation. I could see it happening.
