3 comments so far (post your own)Dance With Me, Still The One, Love Takes Time and Forever are some of the sweetest love songs ever. Their vocals are impeccable and their musicianship is undeniable. If you listen to their music now, you'll realize how much they were part of the explosion of music genres back in the 70s. They produced some of the most uplifting, life affirming, feel good tunes and brought a lot of love to their audience, especially during live performances. Y'all need to listen again and recognize their unique contribution to 70s rock. Posted by Paul Weismann on Tuesday, 05/24/2022 @ 22:02pm |
Did you know that the Hoppen brothers grew up in Woodstock NY and of course went to Woodstock. Posted by Edwin on Wednesday, 05/3/2023 @ 09:10am |
Maybe Orleans is not the most iconic band, but with 54 years of performing,I think they should be considered strongly. There is one thing that they did for which they will have my gratitude, they made my wife happy!!!!!!!My wife had mental health issues, but she always loved the song "Still The One".It always made her happy when she heard it,and that is saying something!!!On the 1 year anniversary of her passing away,I requested that song to be played in her memory on a local radio station, which they gladly did.I want to meet Orleans in person this September and tell them!!!!!One way or another,God bless you Orleans!!
