He should be considered. He's unlikeable and not cool, but he sold like mad (Play sold 12 million) and had songs in tons of commercials and movies.

Jim C, I'm enjoying your opinions, sometimes agreeing with them.

So as far as Moby, probably no chances in the Rock Hall. If there is an Electronica or Dance Music Hall of Fame (technically there is but how active is it, is the question), then yes Moby belongs there. He's got quite an impressive catalog. I can see where he's unlikeable but if you listen to the interview/podcast with Bob Lefsetz, he's very informative. A lot of his songs that made the Billboard Dance chart in the 90s (that never went mainstream) are awesome and worth turning up all the way. And his song from "Gone in 60 Seconds". But personal taste doesn't matter I guess...
