Loverboy RRHOF I would say NO. That no knock on Loverboy It's that the bar to reach Hall of Fame is a difficult one. Think about it...Chicago has sold over 100 million units and there not in. Judas Priest leaders of metal aren't in yet. No Duran Duran one of 80's legendary bands. Several others awaiting induction. KING

I hope the irony is not lost on all these so called professional music journalists. Hip-hop artists, most of which sampled the hell out of songs written a decade or more before their time, get in no problem. Unfortunately, the original artists of the "borrowed" songs like Duran Duran get snubbed. Please explain that to me. Anyone.

Seems like all my favorite 80's bands are getting passed over by the Rock Hall. So many hit songs including Working for the Weekend, Turn Me Loose, Lovin' Every Minute of It, When it's over, The Kid is hot tonite, Hot girls in love, This could be the night, Lucky ones, Notorious, then two classics on soundtracks, Heaven in your eyes in Top Gun, and Almost Paradise in Footloose.

Why isn't Thin Lizzy in the Rock n Roll hall of fame? Every damn classic rock stations around the USA plays their biggest hits. There are commercials ads that use their music. One of the first bands that featured twin lead guitars. Great song writing and an extensive discography. What the heck is wrong with the RNR Hall of Fame. Missy Elliot? C'mon! That's not rock. That's rap!!! Shame on you guys. Thin Lizzy is one of my favorite bands and you're doing them a great injustice.
