I think he should be in, as should other artists of the sixties like Tommy James, Gary Puckett, and the Buckinghams. Just look at the numbers of records that were sold by these guys and their popularity at the time.

The HOF is full of non-Rock acts that pander to all sorts of people that contributed nothing to Rock or music other than making the HOF feel good about including them. It's time to stick to ROCK AND ROLL and let the other genres honor themselves.

Lou is a very skilled and thoughtful writer and his execution is flawless. He has been my favorite since we were on stage together (I was silent) and he sang solo at Christmas program at the Edgeworth Elementary school. I think he was 10.

Lou (Lugee) broke new ground in the early 1960s with a unique falsetto juxtapositioned with a deep baritone voice. The songs he wrote with the remarkable Twyla Herbert are nothing less than brilliant classics, including:
The Gypsy Cried
Two Faces Have I
Lightning Strikes
Rhapsody In The Rain

These and many more are played today on classic and oldie formatted stations, comprising two of three eras of Lou Christie music.

Lou also had huge success with one of his lesser known recordings, Beyond The Blue Horizon, featured in the smash hit film Rain Man starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is missing an important member: Lugee Alfredo Giovanni Sacco -- known to generations as Lou Christie. Let's support a movement to make this a reality!

Lou Christie has made so many contributions to the music industry. He has been a role model to so many entertainers. His musical accomplishments have been overlooked and it is time to do your research on what he has done.
