Limp bizkit is one of the best bands of the 90s and 2000s. People can hate them but they defined nu metal. Anyone who thinks limp shouldn't get in the hall is a dumbass. Each member was so talented and they put on amazing shows back in the day. If Motley crew and poison could still be popular and selling out big venues i think limp should be as well.

The other bands like Papa Roach and Linkin Park would not have gotten popular had Limp Bizkit not been there first! Fred Durst is one of the greatest frontmen of all time, John Otto is an amazing drummer, Sam Rivers creates really great, funky basslinesand Wes Borland has some of the best riffs I've ever heard!
Go LIMP BIZKIT! Put them in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame!

Limp Bizkit was the intro to rock for millions! So many teenagers wanted to be Fred Durst, and many guitar players wanted to copy Wes Borland! Limp Bizkit made rap-rock cool, when you think of rap-rock you think of these guys! Their percentage should be much higher, it should be 90% instead of 4%. i think people say limp bizkit sucks because its trendy to hate them. everyone always says that they suck. if people actually listened to their music they would understand their message. fred durst grew up poor and isolated from the world, and he was able to put together the best band ever, as an outlet for his anger and frustration. they should be in the hall for their impact on the music industry!

So often I hear the LB/Poison comparison, but I do not buy it. There are certainly similarities, but Limp Bizkit is far more diverse and creative. Beyond that, their staying power annihilates Poison's sustainability. When considering the unique sound, the record sales, the talents of the musicians in the group, and the titanic, wavering live show it becomes hard to ignore them. Their resurgence this year may prove the start of a critical turn around to go with their commercial success. Perhaps the most mainstream metal band this side of Metallica; you cannot tell the story of music without Limp Bizkit.

No doubt with album sales and popularity in correlation with their contribution in innovation to the rap rock world, I see them making it in the HOF. The reason why they arent there quite yet is you have to have 25 years after your debut album to qualify, they just became eligible this year.

Saw these guys last week in concert. First time seeing them, although I saw a livestream of theirs from Lollapalooza a while back. It was actually a decent show. Couldn't tell if Fred was wearing a fro wig but he kept bopping his head back and forth. He invited a couple fans on stage with him to help him rap. Overall, great energetic show.

My memories of the Bizkit go back to '98 when one of my co-workers wanted me to hear a hard version of George Michael's "Faith". I felt like I was the first person to have heard of this band before everyone else did. Of course, LB did make a huge dent the next year with "Significant Other" and after Woodstock '99 they became one of the most hated bands - or rather, an act you either love or hate. A lot of their stuff like "Nookie" and "My Way" got overplayed and they had run their course. Everyone got tired of seeing Durst on TRL and we were no longer missing him. Nowadays you have the so-called '90s nostalgia wave and what is one without Limp Bizkit? Fred said multiple times "we're going to party like its 1999 bitch!"

So as far as the group's chances of getting in the Rock Hall: I'm sure it will happen. But not anytime soon. Maybe 10 or 20 years. If Korn is ever on the ballot and gets inducted then I'll get my hopes up.

Limp Bizkit?! Really?! That's as pathetic as Tears for Fears!! How either of these among others would get in but not Pantera is beyond me. Thanks to Pantera we have groove metal. Not to mention Pantera NEVER sold out!! They unapologetically stayed loyal to themselves, their fans and to metal unlike so many others. Whether people like them or not they deserve to be in the Hall Of Fame and if they don't get in that's because they're just too good !!
