Musical international Band Heatwave should have long been inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame as well as Dayton Ohio's The Ohio Players. Those 2 groups have long demonstrated excellence and mastery of music. The main criteria for hall of fame inductees should be emphasized for music legends who show originality. Many folks in the hall of fame don't even have their own music like giant Rod Temperton who wrote for Heatwave and the Ohio Players. Those 2 groups along with Dayton's Slave all illustrate something rappers and the music industry don't show enough of which is Real musical instruments and originality. Also STYLISTICS twelve straight top ten R&B hits! Dramatics. Harold Melvin and the blue notes featuring teddy pendergrass ( who went solo with 5 platinum albums!) One of his nicknames was Black Elvis! Honorable mention for consideration: The EMOTIONS. MOMENTS aka RAY GOODMAN BROWN .Ohio gets lost between Motown Philly Chicago and Memphis soul music scenes.
