Gotye is a one-hit wonder. His one hit was "Somebody That I Used To Know."

I say yes but not on his first year eligible, he fall into the category of an artist's artist. He ran away from the fame that could of made him the biggest name in indie music. He has a small discography of carefully crafted music and his respect for music history shows through everything he does. These kind of artists often don't have hit songs, making him a rarity.

It will take along time for him to be Inducted into the RHOF, a trait typical of an artist's artist.
