He should be inducted before any more 80s-90s Rap acts are inducted. Same goes for the Last Poets.

Gil-Scot Heron should be on the lsit of snubs, not in this list - he is of the rock era - his spoken word numbers were proto-rap. He is probably the biggest snub!

Gil Scott-Herron should have been in the Hall a while ago, not just for his music, but also for his influence. After all that has gone on in 2020, it would be most fitting if he was inducted as a member of the class of 2021.

Inducted as an early influence.
Shame not to see him as a full inductee, but I suppose it makes sense.
He never quite reached the level of fame that the hall expects.
Plus he came up in the jazz scene more than a rock or soul scene, so it's hard to see him as part of the same world as other artists from the time period in the hall.

I know the Last Poets are contextually important but Gil Scott heron was way more musical.
