George has dug his life out of the dirt to become an amazing musician and even a better man. George's drive and dedication for him as number one on the charts and it's hard to believe he is not even been brought up to enter the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame. It would be an injustice of George never made it to that rock in the Hall of Fame with his many lives in Cicis changed in his years in the music industry please consider him to be in the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame.

I was shocked when I discovered George Benson was not already in the RRHOF .. this man's musical genius is being over looked .. he has and still is a HUGE influence in so many Jazz musicians lives .. if not for his own musical talent at least recognize him for all his contributions to others successes .. his guitar acumen out shines so many other guitarists who are already in the RRHOF .. time to get this man in !!!!!

He'll likely would be inducted under "Musical Excellence" category since the Hall has the tendency to induct guitarists under that & "Early Influence".

The Rock Hall is still just making its way through some major 1970s and 1980s acts (like I would probably induct The Spinners before George Benson), but yes, eventually his solid vein of memorable hit songs should get him in.

Get Benson in for crying out loud! LEGEND. So influential, I don't think the general public is aware of how massive an artist he is, but I guarantee they are more familiar with his music than they even realize. The perfect inductee, beyond deserving.
