I saw Gene Simmons as a contestant on Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? I saw every episode of that show and one lady who used to do clean up work at a Penn Dot place at night used to watch that show. This lady remembered when Gene Simmons and the other Kiss guys took their makeup off and she thought they looked bad without the makeup. This lady who watched Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? thought Gene Simmons looked bad without his makeup and he's married to a model. I think her name is Shannon Tweed and this lady couldn't understand why somebody would marry him. Posted by Brian Schonour on Monday, 07/4/2022 @ 21:57pm |
Gene Simmons is the figurehead of Kiss and since all 4 of the original four members released solo albums, they could all be inducted as solo artists. Simmons could be inducted as his influence over the band and pop culture. Though I feel like Ace Frehley and Peter Criss are more deserving than Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley as Ace and Peter had more in their solo careers. Gene is a little more than Paul as I feel Gene is more recognizable. Still, all could be inducted as solo artists to properly see the impact of Kiss as well as inducting Kiss again where members who came on after Ace and Peter left could be inducted as members of Kiss Posted by Austin Smith on Saturday, 08/23/2025 @ 16:18pm |
