You don't have to be a rock artist to be considered for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Musical excellence and influence is what is required and Enya certainly fits the bill. She has many other artists that love to sample her work.

I like the Enya songs "Orinoco Flow" and "Only Time." I can't name any other songs by Enya. I only remember those two songs.

Maybe not in the performer category but the early influence category as she brought the new age music to mainstream.

She should be. I've visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and there are numerous inductees that did not fall into the rock genre. Enya deserves her place there and I hope she gets in someday.

People might know a couple of her songs from commercials and media, but they don't know who it is. She never toured and is private. Doubt she would even show up.
