I just read a story on her today. Wow, she lived to be 97 years old, and definitely lived a full life, and then some. She always had a very positive outlook on life, despite a few bad times, losing her son in 2004, and one of her husbands' spending about $20 Mil of her savings without telling her. The story said she was in great health for her age, but got a bad case of pneumonia. Posted by Will N. on Monday, 05/13/2019 @ 22:34pm |

I voted "no", but didn't think about the possibility of her making it as an early influence. I can tell you my (pre-rock and roll generation) father had a serious crush on her, as did many men of his generation. Posted by Joe on Tuesday, 05/14/2019 @ 00:44am |
