30 comments so far (post your own)one word Madonna she got in and she can't even sing....Diana Ross should have been in long ago! Posted by Bleu on Monday, 03/18/2013 @ 11:51am |
THE FIRST LADY OF MUSIC THE GREAT DIANA ROSS....SIMPLY THE BEST! THE ROCK AND ROLL SHOULD BE HONORED TO HAVE THIS GREAT LADY TEHRE....LATER HATERS! Posted by Bleu on Thursday, 05/30/2013 @ 19:35pm |
Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Carole King, all need second inductions before Stevie Nicks! Posted by |
Miss diana ross is the real deal.she was the first real global pop queen.she invented the female pop ideal and has always been the template for those that followed her.she has inspired and been copied by every female artist to come after her from madonna.whitney.mariah etc.no one ever had the star power or glamour of diana ross.she hasn't got that powerful voice a la aretha but Diana's voice is totally unique and can take you places like no other voice can.diana has been overlooked in her career I think for her incredible success and business acumen.a lot of people dont like that she's always done it her way and was never a puppet.she was the first female artist to take full control of her career. Today we have the likes of Katy perry and gaga who copied everything they have done from other artists.diana ross is a trailblazer and icon and a true legend with over five decades of longevity. Simply supreme .the true empress of pop. Posted by Graham simpson on Thursday, 04/23/2020 @ 10:03am |
Dont see why Diana isnt in. Her solo career, especially her run in the 70s and early 80s is undeniable and adding to the fact she basically sang the last few Supreme hits by herself. She's a pioneer and should have been the first woman inducted twice in the Hall. Posted by ABJ on Wednesday, 06/17/2020 @ 16:18pm |
Dionne Warwick and Diana Ross on the same ballot next year! Diana Ross will be Tina Turner's replacement. Posted by |
I'm thinking Diana Ross will perform Endless Love with Lionel Richie at the 2022 induction ceremony, and she'll be nominated for a second induction in 2023. Posted by |
Dionne Warwick, Diana Ross, and Judy Collins on the same ballot next year! Posted by |
It's been 34 years since Diana Ross' first induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Posted by |

Can't believe she's not inducted! Her career was the blueprint for so many others after her. At least Kennedy Center, Grammy Lifetime Achievement, Soul Train, American Music Awards, and Essence Awards have recognized her contributions. The Rock & Roll HofF really seems like a good ole boy club that under values women. Posted by Terry Wilson on Friday, 10/14/2022 @ 00:57am |
Diana, the First Lady of Music & my opinion her singing voice is way better than Aretha Franklin. Diana , was the only lead vocals ( her voice is like honey with lots of sentiment & so clear & soothing ) for the supremes, anybody could of did backup vocals& why don't they include those 12 # 1 with her 6 she did as Diana Ross . Truly the only Queen Posted by Robert on Wednesday, 05/3/2023 @ 14:42pm |
I believe it's the right timing for Diana Ross to be inducted as the famed and legendary solo artist she is. Many of us have marveled at her career firsts, breakthroughs as someone who was fearless and talented. She paved the way for so many artists who followed. Her music still has strong standing around the world. It seems natural and timely to indict Diana Ross in the Hall of Fame. Posted by Rich Dean on Monday, 08/28/2023 @ 02:57am |

It is time for Diana Ross to be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of fame. She has performed for Royalty-Queen of England and around the world. Her music stretches wide pop, blues, country, disco, theatrical (Wiz), and other standards from her 1st release album as a solo artist "Diana Ross" to "Blue" featuring the legend and not mention her many successful duet releases. Her career spans at least five decades. Please catch this national treasure while she yet is able to appear for the induction. Diana is a consummate entertainer . . . "Ain't No Mountain High Enough"; "The Boss"; "I Coming Out"; "Upside Down"; "Endless Love"; "No One Gets The Prize" . . . ! Posted by Robert Tinch on Wednesday, 11/8/2023 @ 22:06pm |

She's been punished by the Oscars, Grammys, Emmy 's,Tony's all for leaving the Supremes and going out on her own. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame get over it. Posted by Richard Lee Duncan on Thursday, 10/24/2024 @ 10:13am |
She's probably been lip-synching for a decade or more at this point. Posted by Jim C. on Wednesday, 09/17/2025 @ 09:54am |
The new women's movement on the committee will get Diana Ross and Judy Collins on the ballot, and the Monkees will be next year's Chubby Checker. Posted by |
Diana Ross still tours! Posted by |
I predicted Carole King and Tina Turner would be nominated and inducted in the same year, and I was right! I now predict Diana Ross and Phil Collins will be nominated and inducted in the same year. Posted by |
Yes, Diana Ross is still performing. She sang a medley on New Year's Eve in Times Square to ring in 2026, and she has tour dates scheduled for February and March, including Las Vegas, Arizona, Texas, and Florida. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster. Posted by |
Diana Ross - 82 in March. Posted by |
Which 3 songs should Diana Ross perform at the induction ceremony? Posted by |
Diana Ross and the Commodores get inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in the same year. Diana Ross is the first performance and induction of the night. She performs Ain't No Mountain High Enough, Upside Down, I'm Coming Out, and then, "surprise" out walks Lionel Richie to perform Endless Love with Diana Ross. Diana Ross is then inducted. Then comes The Commodores induction and performance with Lionel Richie. They perform Machine Gun, Brick House, Lady (You Bring Me Up), and then Night Shift with J.D. Nicholas. Posted by |
Diana Ross did headline a major music festival.. Glastonbury! And she has two legendary Grammy Awards (one as a Supreme and another solo). Ms Ross is more than qualified to be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. She's worked with some of Rock Halls greats from Darryl Hall to Barry Gibb to Stevie Wonder! If I was John Sykes, I'd nominate Diana first before renominating Mariah, only because I feel Diana should've been in as a soloist years ago and it would be embarrassing for those two to be nominated in the same year only for Mariah to come up short again (plus there's still a lot of Boomer love for Miss Ross). Third, both ladies should get in before Beyonce is nominated lol Posted by |
