I love Dave in VH, but his solo stuff isn't good nor commercially successful enough to get him in. Glad he's in with VH though. Posted by JDL on Sunday, 08/8/2021 @ 17:55pm |
David Lee Roth was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame with Van Halen. However, outside of Van Halen he only had two hits which were his versions of "California Girls" and "Just A Gigolo." Posted by Brian Schonour on Saturday, 10/9/2021 @ 21:08pm |
His first 2 solo records are pretty damn great (more Van Halen than what Van Hagar was doing at the time). "Damn Good" is excellent. "Just like Paradise" is great. "Yankee Rose" is also another staple. Posted by Jim C. on Tuesday, 01/13/2026 @ 23:17pm |
