I believe 'Treasure' should be an essential album.

It should be an immediate no-brainer that they need to get inducted. Elizabeth Fraser alone inspired generations of singers trying to bite her style.

Literally invented Dream Pop singlehandedly. Which then begat shoegaze. Both of which have gone on to be influential across all sorts of music genres. I heard a shoegaze/dream pop influence on a TAYLOR SWIFT song, because Jack Antonoff knows his stuff. Smashing Pumpkins had influence from it. The Weekend was hugely influenced by them. Mumble Rap took some cues from them. They need to be put in as influencers, give them maybe one year on the ballot. Trent Reznor himself needs to handle this. Robert Smith can back him up.
