Cameo is one of the greatest funk, rock, jazz bands ever. The HOF desire to limit Black acts is a slap in the face to the history and culture of the music itself. The white washing continues.

Couldn't agree with you more!
Cameo gave as much dedication and love to the craft of entertaining us who could feel their vibe deep within our souls as has most bands in the rock and roll hall of fame. There needs to be a more diverse group of people on the rock and roll hall of fame committee who truly benefited from Cameo's presence in their lives. There are those who can honestly say Cameo earned it's place in the rock and roll hall of fame when they first came onto the scene and caused those of us who are in touch with our souls to shake our pants whenever and wherever we were when we first heard their grooves. I personally believe it's more honorable to say thank you to our great entertainers while they are still alive. We at a minimum owe that to them. I got nothin but love for Cameo.

Yes I have been a cameo fan since I was 12 years old through my college years they are truly one of the greatest funk RB bands of all time they should be in the rock and room hall of fame

Cameo belongs in the Hallof Fame. If LL Cool J is in . Why isn't Cameo, there's more hits,more music. Originality. And at the minimum, 10 gold.or platinum albums. If they're not in the Hallof Fame is the Hall of SHAME. War is not even in there should say alot.

I'm not a fan of Cameo. I just found out that they've had that many gold albums. And I think one went platinum. Man, Was I surprised. As I've stated. I'm not a fan of there music. But, I do feel they should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Because of all those gold albums. That's a big statement in itself. Some groups that HASN'T had as much success as Cameo are already in. I'm stating this not as a fan. But as someone who knows the rules & regulations of the Rock & Roll Hall of fame. Also, some of there music has been Re-recorded by other people.
