Absolute disgrace that they are not in there (the R&R Hall of Fame). Isn't it time for fans like us to kick-start ($$$$) a new and true R&R Hall of Fame? Not just for BOA, but so many legendary others who will never get a second glance from the corporate snobbery that passes for music criticism these days.

It pisses me off.

I propose what (off the top of my head) could be called "Deep Cuts" R&R Hall of Truth.

Got their first album in 1970 when I was 14, I think they were a seminal southern rock band. It's a shame they're not in the hall. They forgot about them just like The Moody Blues Jimmy Gunn

Black Oak Arkansas should definitely be in the Rock and roll hall of Fame. They were before lynerd Skynyrd . They supposedly influenced David Lee Roth. Also played in several music festivals around the world including California Jam in 1974.

One of the great live acts back in the day, not much radio play, music was way to suggestive back then,,sold several millions of albums, top concert draw for many years in the 1970s due to the preachings of Jim Dandy!
LONG LIVE RAUNCH N ROLL.

Rest in Peace Harvey "Burley" Jett, guitarist (also played banjo and keyboards as well as vocals, from 1970 to 1974), 1949(?)-2022.

Ii am An artist, musicsn songwriter and belive that by not having some of the quintessential real rock bands like Black Oak Arkansas in the hall of fame while other new bands and current acts that are not even in the genre of real rock. Music such as rap. That makes the Rockv& Roll Hall of Fame an invalid institution run by a new generation fir political reasons not keeping within the spirt of true R9ck & Roll and not giving near enough credit to the greats. Who actually made Tock & Roll music. I lived the true rock and roll years being my 70s & in my book this makes any decisions made by the board a sham & makes the institution a invalid judgment group, henceforth I will be making this statement at every gig i play from now until I pass. Please reconsider the way you choose how you honor the true greats and not the political pop bands thanks for letting me air my views.
