Beyonce is a strong singer and the performer of her generation. She has had so many iconic singles and has been such an inspiration to many other singers. I don't see how at least one of her or DC gets in. Jay Z however is another talentless story who is solely dependent on marketing.

Beyonce is fine for what she is. At the core she's a Janet Jackson wannabe. If/when Janet gets in we can continue the Beyonce conversation.

So if Beyonce wasn't already on track for the Hall of Fame before, she absolutely guaranteed it with her new release.

Everybody in the industry seems to be freaking out about this. I haven't listened to the album myself but you can't deny how it seems like she just changed the game right before our eyes.

Lol the fact that most people voted no for Beyonce to be inducted proves they vote with their hearts and not their brains. Just because it's the "Rock" Hall doesn't mean she won't be inducted, Aretha Franklin was very much R&B and soul and she's in.

I am in no way a fan of Beyonce, but I'm not blind enough to see how influential she is. She is in my mind the biggest female artist of the 21st century. Destiny's Child was enormously popular, and Beyonce's solo career is even bigger than that. She's a lock for the Hall.

She's easily a lock. It's hard for pop stars to come by critical acclaim, cultural relevance, and commercial success for such a long time, and she has all that in spades. First year inductee if I've ever seen one.

It kills me to see how old most of these comments are. In the past, I totally would have agreed with her not being inducted. It's 2020 now, and I see why it makes sense for her to be inducted into the hall of fame. This woman has constantly pushed herself and her craft to places that not a lot of artists dare to go. With a surprise album drop that consisted of music videos for every song, to using her musical platform to stand against the many injustices going on in the United States, her monumental comeback performance (Coachella) which helped gain popularity for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), and her raw talent to begin with, these are some of the many things that make her an easy lock!

These comments are ANCIENT as well as the votes. Most of these comments are dated from the B'Day and I Am... Sasha Fierce eras of Beyoncé, where it could've been questionable. In 2020, that question mark should be replaced with an exclamation point. Rock Hall committee, this website needs a revamp ASAP. Because these statements are not truths anymore. Beyoncé rivals Michael Jackson in terms of popularity, cultural relevance, and outshines him in critical acclaim. She has the highest rated album on Metacritic of all time (AND it's a live album - no one is doing THAT) of 98%, and she consistently raises the bar for herself and the entire music industry.

Beyoncé is a first year nominee and inductee, and I expect nothing less.

The defining artist of her generation and thats undeniable. There aren't even words that can describe how powerful and brilliant this woman is in every song, album, appearance, performance she strikes gold and has truly made herself a legend. A first time nominee and and inductee for sure- the Hall is practically waiting to let Beyonce in and for once there will be or should not be ANY detractors because unlike any of her peers, she has shown that she AND her music have stood the test of time.

But, really, she is the most important pop artist/performer of the last two decades and arguably one of the most important ever. She has the acclaim, star power, and influence. It would be ludicrous for her not to be a first year inductee; she has already written herself in pop history.

Couldn't let the comment above be the last word on Beyoncé. Not in the year of our Lord 2023! Not after the Renaissance album, tour and film! Not after 27 years of excellence, artistry, cultural relevance and social consciousness! I know Beyoncé will never see this, and I also know if she did she wouldn't care b/c she has nothing to prove. She told us that much. But I'll say it again for those who can't (or won't) acknowledge her brilliance. First year nominee and inductee, and I for one (of millions) cannot wait to see it!

First let's be real, it's not the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame anymore it is just the musical Excellence and most popular artist Hall of Fame and she does deserve to be in that.
Most bands do not get inducted anymore because they are only worried about who will bring in the most revenue not who has been successful in performing rock and roll music. It took almost 35 Years of eligibility as a solo artist for Ozzy to get in, enough said.

There are few solo pop artists that have had the critical, commercial and artistic success of Beyoncé. There really isn't a word available to describe her. Trailblazer? Innovator? Professor?! I felt like she solidified her place when she gave the greatest live performance ever at Coachella (I was there WE2!)… but then she dropped both Renaissance and Cowboy Carter, and once we have Act3, it's pretty much a wrap. She's well-respected across the industry, idolized… and it's all earned and warranted. She's simply the Queen. And that's on PERIODT! ☺️

Pour moi c'est une bête sur scène elle sait chanter et danser et aussi elle fait de son mieux à l'excellence avec ses performances, le problème c'est qu elle n a pas albums classiques ou chansons classiques qui resteront toujours. Elle a un très bon marketing et elle fait des hits commerciaux elle se soucie bcp des ventes et charts, alors que ces facteurs un jour vont fade away by time, la musique c'est la passion, on le fait avec amour et âme, c'est ce que la musique de beyonce manque c'est pour cela Michael restera toujours éternel parce qu'il touche les sentiments et les émotions des gens. Elle mérite ses crédit mais pour moi elle ne mérite pas

She's the most talented and influential artist of the last couple of decades. She has multiple classic albums and songs, and her talent and commitment to social justice themes in her music will reflect very well in the future, considering the tyranny America is currently under. She's a lock and totally deserves her future Hall of Famer status.

Objectively, Beyoncé is as groundbreaking as Michael Jackson was in the 80s. Her Rennaisance album alone is probably one of the greatest albums of all time, a truly cinematic and immersive listening experience.

It would make more sense if she was inducted in 2028 instead of 2027. 2028 would be 25 years out from her first album in 2003 and previous to the first album she only released one solo single.

She'll get in 2027 or 2028, but she is prob the most overhyped artist in the last 15 years years. Talented performer but she is her music is nothing special. Her work ethic and the industry will be make sure she gets in first try.

Yeah. Beyonce is eligible in 2028. If you go to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, on Level 3 you can vote for who you believe should be inducted. You can't vote for Beyonce yet because it says her first album was 2003, so she is eligible in 2028. This is similar to Madonna where her first single was 1982 but the album was 1983. Madonna's first year of eligibility was 2008 & she got in on her first year of eligibility.
