Will Robert Fripp be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?
"Musical excellence is the essential qualification for induction."

Arguably one of THE most influential figures in Progressive Rock, Robert Fripp is the one and only permanent member of King Crimson. He's worked with Brian Eno, Peter Hammill, Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, Blondie and The Talking Heads. My favorite Fripp project will always be "The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles and Fripp." (1967) CLASSIC!!

Not only a unique guitarist of many styles but a great teacher as well if you listen to his The League Of Crafty Guitarists project with his students. As a guitarist myself I can appreciate that.

Not many capture the essence of cutting edge artistry for 40 years the way this chap does. If influence and innovation are the criteria for admission to this Hall Of Fame then Mr. Fripp should receive an engraved invitation!

Not very familiar with his solo career although he should be inducted with King Crimson (He should already be in the hall with King Crimson)
