Will Robbie Williams be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?
"Musical excellence is the essential qualification for induction."

No comments on Robbie? I think that says it all.

If he will be inducted, then only after Take That, which would be somewhere around the 12th of Never...

I give credit to you Americans for largely ignoring him, btw, because his music sucks big time. I don't really have anything against him personally, he seems like a really nice bloke and all. It's just his poptimist fans who act as if he's the greatest artist and the hottest sh*t to ever walk on this planet who really annoy me. They need to get a life. Or at least listen to some descent music for a change.

His music's okay (I listened to the Millenium album about 11 years ago), but hasn't really stood the test of time and he hasn't really done anything for the British music industry at all. Plus, the cat-fight between him and Liam Gallagher (I'll take Oasis anyday over Robbie) was pathetic. He does seem normal enough, and it really was Liam who started it. Get out the handbags!

My God I'm stupid. The album is called "The Ego Has Landed" and the single is called "Millenium" (good song.) Sorry. Anyhow, based on his accomplishements so far no hall for Robbie (I reserve the right to change my mind if his credential improve.)

Typo, "Credentials" improve. However, my mind was blown the other day. I discovered he's only had one gold album in the US and hasn't really charted, which didn't surprise me. However, I discovered that he has sold, get this, 16,300,000 albums in the UK! Incredible! He's outdone lots of Brits already in the Hall, and the other only people who I know can claim to have outdone that statistic are Madonna and Queen (I can't find the numbers for Elvis and The Beatles.) Plus another 2,560,000 in singles sales, and 4,200,000 albums and 10,900,000 singles with Take That. Plus he's also big in Australia and the rest of Europe. Doesn't make him any more Hall worthy, just putting his non-Stateside success in perspective.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
