What's the name of that music critic and writer who looks like the members of the Ramones? He's got black hair to his shoulders and wears glasses. I think he works for Rolling Stone.

You're thinking of David Fricke.

I love the Ramones I'm only twelve but I've been listening to them since I was eight. I'm so sad none of my classmates know these guys.

The Ramones are one of the greatest bands of all time. Forty years on and still relevant, still fresh and still unique. Not a punk band or rock band to touch them for longevity and stamina. Some great songs and a bigger range than people give them credit for. Listen to Questioningly, Havana Affair and Daytime Dilemma. Three great songs, vastly different styles. Joey actually became a really great singer. I had the honour of seeing them live a few times - they were great. BTW, I also love Blondie and the New York Dolls - there's room for all three in the Hall Of Fame.

Why did they snub Richie? He should have been there, too.
