In spite of being a son of a legend, looks and sounds like his father, is not given a fair chance. He has very good music of his own, he deserves a better chance to be in the HOF.

In my opinion, Julian more than never should to enter on the HOF because of the all work that he did until now, (and is doing yet)... and because of the good things that he passes for everyone that appreciate and like of his work. And not just because he is son of John Lennon or because he has the similar voice when sings.

Jules has more talent than alot of the artists who have been inducted thus far into the Hall of Fame. therefore he should be considered. And need more air play and should be given a chance in his own right.

You seem very spiteful of the Lennon's and even Ringo.
Ringo is fantastic drummer and singer with and without the Beatles ..John had him on many of his recordings. His All Star Band is just that! ..Ringo is all talent as all of the Beatles were and are..
Julian is fabulous writer ,singer, guitarist very under rated..
I feel sorry for your lack of understanding and love.
Good luck

Tina your dumbass comments regarding how Sean Lennon was taught by Yoko Ono to be better than John Lennon alone disqualifies anything you have to say as rubbish. Good bye to you!!!

Julian Lennon in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

Huh?

It's not whether you are a fan or not, but whether their work has had a lasting or transcending effect on the culture.

Julian Lennon has neither.

You know, the more I dig into the depths of this site and the more I unearth posts by this mrxyz character, the more his credibility shrinks. He seems to have first appeared sometime in '08 and had a consisted streak until last year when he suddenly stopped posting. It would appear his sense of logic when discussing an artist's merits consists of "I like them so they are Hollywood Hype, therefore they should be in the Hall of Fame" then saying "YES, YES, YES" about twenty times and if somebody questions him his response is "All ya need is ears." Is it just me or isn't this the exactly how a troll behaves. I mean, here for example he claims Julian Lennon has "paid his dues." what exactly does that mean? Is there some music scene on Pluto or Mars that I'm not aware of?

If some people are "born to be rock royalty" as mrxyz claims, then God Help Us All. I would like to think someone becomes "rock royalty" (what the Hell does that mean anyway?) by you know, actually doing something. Julian Lennon is one of the few acts on here were I can say, not just no, but HELL NO. I'll admit he's more talented than Sean Lennon, but that's not saying much.

"Julian Lennon is one of the few acts on here were I can say, not just no, but HELL NO."

I'm correcting myself, replace "few" with "many"

"I like them so they are Hollywood Hype, therefore they should be in the Hall of Fame"

Correction #2: "ARE NOT Hollywood Hype." See, this is what mrxyz does to you!!!

I think the 1969 # 1 hit Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye) by Steam was the inspiration for the 1984 Julian Lennon # 5 hit Too Late For Goodbyes. They sound so similar. I'm surprised I've never heard any discussion about it in my life.
