Will John Travolta be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?
"Musical excellence is the essential qualification for induction."

Didn't even know he made an album. But his acting sucks, and saturday night fever sucked. So he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.

I wonder if it's as bad as Bruce Willis - The Return Of Bruno?

He didn't have enough music to be inducted by himself. Maybe when Olivia Newton-John gets inducted in, he would get inducted alongside her.

I thought this was the Rock N Roll hall of fame. Since when do movie actors get inducted into this hall. Why are they also inducting RAP musicians and R & B musicians? Suddenly I am losing my interest in the hall of fame. At least the other hall of fames keep the inductees to their own.

They've been inducting R&B since Day 1. Where have you been?

The Rock Hall has always operated on a broad definition of Rock & Roll. I don't see them ever moving from that, nor do I think they should.

What they do need to fix is the number of inductees. Rock & roll, under the broad definition that they're operating under, is ever expanding, yet the number of inductees is shrinking.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
