Simply put, no Hanoi Rocks = no Guns N' Roses.

I agree with the last comment completely...and not just GnR but other incredible bands as well.

Agree too, Still a band too that influence many, many Underground European bands, Can never see them included before G'N'R. Though didnt Axle himself say once 'Hanoi rocks were the band he wanted to be bigger than' I Think.
If that wasn't an Influence comment in it's self.

Hello? duh. they need to be. what would finland be without Hanoi? Why, it would be H.I.M.
And what did finland do to deserve that honor (sarcasm). Put em in.

Without Hanoi Rocks, very little '80's music would have been what it was, including GnR and the whole Hollywood Strip, but also a lot of the new wave bands. And along with this, where would Hanoi have been without the NY Dolls, who should also be in. Hanoi Rocks is a huge, important link in the chain of rock from the '70's to the '00's.

Actually, there would be Hanoi without NY dolls, but I still agree that they both should be in.

i just want one reason why they should'nt be in there

nd the doll's christ
its pathetic that they arn't
like i dont understand why the ramones are and the dolls arnt if it was'nt for the doll's the ramones would'nt be what they were.
anoys me greatly to see amazing bands overlooked.

The drummer of Hanoi Rocks, Razzle, was accidently killed in a car accident. The car he was in was driven by Vince Neil.

GNR just got inducted this year. I'm puzzled about their being inducted ahead of Hanoi Rocks, since HR laid the foundation for glam metal with their looks and sound while taking influence from the New York Dolls (another band that has been long neglected by the RRHOF). Outside of Appetite for Destruction, I don't care for Guns N' Roses.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
