Absolutely Paul,

I like Bryan Ferry's solo work also.

However, I think that his chances of induction are much better with his band, Roxy Music, than as a solo artist, at this time.

Roxy Music's final album, "Avalon" was an absolute masterpiece and arguably, their greatest recording.

Bryan Ferry has never made or wrote a bad record he has influenced many people and bands through his work as a fashion icon and a great front man he never really made it in us like Bowie did but I always thought that Bowie was also influenced by ferry.

I would like to extend my most sincere appreciation to Bryan Ferry and extend best wishes for a Very Happy Birthday 75th birthday to him. Thank you, Bryan for all of the great songs which you have written and thank you also for piloting Roxy Music through the turgid and tumultuous decade of the 1970's. Congratulations on your well-deserved induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame earlier last year.

Well, what do you think.

i love ferrys solo records but unlike eno, his solo work is pretty much covered by roxys induction. Eno on the other hand, absolutely needs a solo spot for his poineering of ambient music
