...But he is not ROCK & ROLL performer...!!!!!! He does ReGGAe?!?!?! doesn't he??????

He DID reggae until he died 26 years ago.

He WAS not rock & roll.

This is 1 of the things that irks me so much about this institution. I know it's not the United Nations or The Bank For International Settlements, but when they put people like Marley in like they're rockers it's obvious that left wing politics is the ONLY reason. It really hurts their credibility.

He should be induced as an influence, not a performer.

What irks me is that the put Marley in officially, but not the Wailers? WTF? No Peter Tosh or Bunny Livingston? And while I'm at it where's Lee Perry or Toots & the Maytals?

Bob Marley is not my personal favorite but way more deserving and legendary then Madona.

It shows and says a lot when the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" puts a artist like him in.. A very good choice indeed..

rockinsue n mike have got the idea.

bob marley to me is legendary.. sure he is reggae but this man is the first name that comes to mind when i hear a hall of fame for music... go and listen to some of his greatest hits n even someone who doesnt appreciate reggae or hippie music will see why this man deserves to be on this list

:) bob marley forever reggae king

chloe...Bob Marley was inducted in '94, so would you please do some research instead of getting on here and mindlessly rambling...there's enough of that on here!

WHAT A MAJOR JOKE

ABBA and MADONNA are about 100x more relevant in the RRHF than that guy.

He's wasn't a Rock & Roller, but indeed he was talented, very creative and very influential to many rock & roll bands today.
