I much prefer ATDI to the two spinoffs that emerged from their ashes, but they had too short a peak to merit inclusion I feel. Of course, if they actually get nominated, my fanboyism and my El Paso Pride will overwhelm my reason and I'll say full speed ahead.

^^An interesting and honest enough account. However, short as their career may have been, taken into consideration their impact on the punk and emo scene. ATDI practically crafted and built the Post Hardcore and Emo scene and style. They innovated with a style that many are still trying to catch up to today and have influenced just about every punk, emo and hardcore band in the underground and elsewhere today.

One of the greatest bands to die (so to speak) to early.

If ATDI gets in, I will shit my pants.

At the Drive In as opposed to In the Studio? With an attitude like that, they'll never be taken seriously!

i think they should. them not breaking up, in my opinion is probably one of the what ifs in music

If they never imploded, then they would probably be huge right now, maybe as huge as Nirvana was in the 90s. Sadly, I'll be realistic and say that they won't get in, though if they were still together, they'd have a much bigger chance.

saw these guys at Shakey Knees Music Fest a couple weekends ago. They closed the Piedmont Stage. Had actually never heard of these guys before the lineup came out. Thought they were some kind of pop band (ha, ha). Think the name threw me a bit.

Anyway, they are most definitely not pop. Rocked hard for hour and a half. Glad I had my earplugs. Lead singer still jumps around like a maniac, had a hell of an afro. Great fun, hope y'all get a chance to see them this year.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
