tommy was one of my early favorite singers. sheila, the folk singer,jam up and jelly tight,sweat pea, songs i still prefer plating and listening to. his type of music should be preferred.

solo artist during the 60s.

He invented the "bubblegum" pop, and continues to tour.

Virtually inventing a genre of Rock and Roll should qualify Tommy Roe. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is something of a joke, but Tommy deserves recognition for his enormous and lasting success in the record business.

Tommy didn't invent bubblegum pop. It was largely the machinations of producers Jerry Kasenatz and Jeff Katz. Tommy didn't even really get on board until later.

I like Tommy, but even I have a hard time arguing for him.

Tommy Roe should ABSOLUTELY be inducted into The R&R Hall of Fame ! Far to many people/groups who have contributed greatly to our American popular music have been overlooked. I for one feel strongly that Tommy Roe be inducted . Shame on you (hall of fame) bureaucracy if Mr.Roe is inducted posthumously like so many before him .
