Went to watch the trems in 1981 on holiday.i was 16 at the time.my mum and dad took me to see them..they were amazing..vocally and musically, been to see them many times since.Always a fantastic performance..and any band from the sixties thats still giving fantastic performances and still banging it out live ,in my book deserves massive credit..ie tremeloes, searchers etc..everybody is certainly intitled to there opnions,if they have actually been to watch the bands in concert, probably more than once and not just blinkered by one style of music they like..if thats the case ,comment on the bands ur interested in..

Im very sad to hear of Rick westwoods retirement. This band were a really happy bunch and as a player provided me with much inspiration in their heyday. The lead guitar of Rick was just at the right level and so were the harmonies. I saw them in the late 60s and a few years ago at Cromer in Norfolk when Chip made a brief return. I never wanted it to end and of course they still go on regardless. I wish them well

Great comments Rob!

Like Marlene said earlier, others appreciate the time you took to add all those telling tidbits. I too am a long time fan of The Trems. Wish I knew how to contact you to share more information.

Best regards from SoCal

Any band who is one of the first to use an electric sitar on stage deserves a place in the Hall of Fame. The Tremeloes were not only a "feelgood" band with some hits, they were innovative to the max. This is musical excellence.
They should be inducted!

The Tremeloes deserve induction. Also one of my favorite groups should be in the hall. The Outsiders from Cleveland Ohio. Sonny Geraci lead vocal on my favorite Time Won'T Let Me and also on Precious and Few
