Look, it's very hard to tell what will happen with regards to current bands and the hall of fame, considering that they aren't eligible or on the minds of the committee. But based on the fact that there hasn't been many (if any) non-English speaking artists, and their sound is more pop than anything else... I'm going to say that they will not be inducted. They also aren't great. Not as terrible as some people make them out to be, but not as great as some of their fans think. I think the hall would have to dramatically change their approach for inducting artists before BTS would ever have shot at it.

even though they are a current band i can see potential for them in the future, so far they have been the only band since the Beatles to get 3, #1 albums in a year, they've only been out 7 years and have made history, their story of climbing from the bottom and having to go through so many trials to get to where they are today , considering they used to just be 7 Korean boys from a small town is truly inspiring, they have always put people first, ever since their debut they've sworn to use their music to make the world a better place and to create a safe haven to better peoples stressful lives, and they are living proof the music transcends language, most people seem to forget that k pop isn't a genre, but BTS isn't even considered a k pop band anymore because they have proven time and time again they cant be put under a label like that, they are always exploring genres through their music and even mixing them, they started off as a hip-hop/rap group and grew from there, and even got tips from artists like Warren G and even Iris Stevenson, in a world like the one we have today , we need a band like them to help give youth the confidence it needs , so yes i do think they will be inducted in the future

No they won't and they aren't better than the Beatles, the Beatles made a change in music, they did not, their fan base are mainly young children so I see no possibility of them going in. They have made no influential affect on pop music, they might have had a mild effect at best, they sound like any other poppy type autotune boy band, sadly for the bts "army", they will not be inducted, deal with it.

I have to admit that BTS can beat the Beatles. BTS has been in the billboard for 10 WEEKS. Not just that but they are helping the world into a changing environment. They have made music to inspire everyone. Even celebrities from different places. Ever since their debut, they have made an impact about teenage stories that every teenager phrase goes through. They don't also make music for fun but they make music for people out there that need. It is very crazy how just 7 guys in South Korea from a almost bankruptcy company could be THIS Big of a band. They had donate 1 M Dollars to the BLM Community, and helped arise awareness about Child and Teen Abuse. Even each member. J-hope has donated 100k to children all over the world to help them for their needs in his birthday. There is tons of clothes and accessories that sold out for bts, being a generous soul, Jungkook knew that people were definitely were going to sold out the shirt that he wore in his birthday, so in that case, the money that was sold was gave to a community that helps children as well. As more on, BTS's Company has donated to Sewol Ferry Disaster (81k). This means that they are a caring band that everyone should remember. Yes they should be inducted to the future.

As much as I hate to admit it, I can legitimately see these guys get honored 20 years from now. They've been #1 on the charts for 12 weeks with 3 different songs. That's crazy.

I don't know if they will, but they should. They are a ground breaking, global phenomenon. They change their style and sound dramatically and frequently in the pursuit of artistic innovation. And their fans aren't necessarily kids. They have many unexpected, older fans because of their unparalleled artistry.

I believe they should be as they have changed the music world. They certainly has left a great impact on the lives of many people through their music. They convey very meaningful messages to the world whether it be for a 15yr old a 50yr old. They are also great people besides artists as they address many ongoing problems in the world like Asian hate, BLM and problems people specially teenagers are going through. They also help donate when a disaster occurs. It is very rare that artists do this and use their platform for the benefits of others. so i believe they deserve this and not because they are superior than anyone else or something like that, but because they have simply left a huge impact on a lot of peoples lives and they deserve to be recognised for their efforts.

I am a 63 y.o. man and was introduced to BTS through my 6 y.o. daughter and her mother. BTS is not just another boy band. Their must is refreshing and innovative. They have many layers in their music. IMO they will easily enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when eligible.
