The Forgotten Songwriter Who Inspired the Beatles

Arthur Alexander still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Sadly, he won't ever be inducted in the hall of fame. He should be. He was covered by virtually everyone from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Gene Vincent, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Guess Who, Dusty Springfield and the Bee Gees. Even a NZ group band called Ray Columbus and the Invaders covered him. Yet fame eluded him. The R&R HOF should prioritize artists like Arthur Alexander who were major influences on many of rocks biggest stars. Instead, the HOF seems intent on including Rap and Hip Hop artists, which, IMO, are NOT rock and roll!
Shameful.
