Nominations for this month will begin at 8 PM Central (though nominations before that will be accepted). Every voter can nominate three albums from 1900-2023. Nominations will end at 8 PM Central on the 3rd.

Each voter must vote for exactly 8 albums to have their ballot count.

The list of nominees will be posted after nominations close on the 3rd. The review period will close at 8 PM Central on the 4th, at which point the poll link will be sent out to registered voters.

There will be 4 days of voting, ending at 8 PM Central on the 8th. The top 8 vote-getters will be inducted, with a tiebreaker taking place if necessary.

Each month's year will be randomly selected using the True Random Number Generator on www.random.org. I will assign a value of 1-X (with X being the number of remaining years and year groupings eligible for the project) to each year (sorted chronologically) and the year that corresponds to the randomly selected number will be used for the month's genre vote. The same year will be used in the Song and Album Project.

This month's selected year is 1975.

Nominations are now open for this month's Year Vote. Any voter can nominate as many as three albums first released in 1975.

There will be 3 days of nominations for the genre vote. Any voter can lodge a protest against a nominated album, but only if they feel that the album is being nominated inappropriately. Any album that receives 3 protests will be disqualified from the genre vote.

The list of nominees will be posted after nominations close on the 10th. The review period will close at 8 PM Central on the 11th, at which point the poll link will be sent out to registered voters.

There will be 4 days of voting with the same rules as the Album Project vote, ending at 8 PM Central on the 15th.

4 days of voting will take place. Voters can vote for exactly six nominated albums. Voting will end at 8 PM Central on the 15th. The three albums that receive the most votes will be inducted into the Album Project.

In the event of a tie, there will be a two-day tiebreaker vote. Tiebreaker losers will be automatically nominated for the next month's Album Project vote.

  Crown of Creation is one of our biggest snubs from the 1960's in my opinion. It has my vote regardless of what else gets nominated.

The other 8 would depend on what's nominated, though I would be pretty likely to vote for at least This Was and The Immortal Otis Redding.
