Yes, I believe that you are accurate, but I have to tell you one thing, Nominating Committee member Alan Light said on his podcast Sound Up with Mark Goodman that he was told that 6th, 7th and 8th place finishers were all within a few votes of each other so the Rock Hall put them all in. He also heard there was more distance between 8th and 9th place than 1st and 8th. So I believe that you are still accurate and I should see my accuracy, and You will continue to make accurate predictions, and I believe that Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Soundgarden, Thin Lizzy, Alanis Morissette and Devo all have a chance of getting in if on the ballot next year.

So ATCQ, Cher, Kool, and Mary are the top 4.
Foreigner is likely to have made it to #5 through money (just like I said on the Steve Hoffman Forum).

I wouldn't rule out DMB, Peter Frampton, and Ozzy using weighted votes like last year.

After #5, it's all weighted votes rather than actual voting results.

Laura Nyro should be a lot higher (somewhere between 120 - 130). She was the type of singer/songwriter who pioneered the quirky female singer/songwriter trope that paved the way for Kate, Tori, Bjork, Fiona, Joanna Newsom, etc. Her late 60s / early 70s albums (specifically New York Tendaberry) were way ahead of their time with the artsy, unconventional approach towards songwriting.

Motley Crue is complaining about not being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Does this suggest they might be nominated next year? Last year, Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner, and Cher made similar complaints and then were all inducted this year.

Coldplay + Thom Yorke aka Muse is probably a decade away I'd guess. They're big enough.

Josh Homme I feel depends. He is a Damon Albarn like figure (someone I think will get ME) but I think Queens of the Stone Age could contend but that's way down the line (like 2040 or something). I do think him getting involved could impact things and I do think he's gonna induct someone very soon.
