Widespread Panic is so deserving of this honor. Theyve never had a huge hit, but they hold the record for most sold out shows at Red Rocks at 41 I believe. Great Band! Always puts on a great show. Posted by Greta on Monday, 03/3/2014 @ 01:23am |
WSMFP... the boys should definitely get into the hall!! Been playing/jamming almost non stop for 30+ years!! Their live shows are incredible...never have played the same show/set list Twice! Have released many albums from studio to live soundboard stuff! INCREDIBLE Posted by Patrick on Friday, 12/15/2017 @ 02:00am |
Rest in Peace Todd Nance (drummer for Widespread Panic), 1962-2020. Posted by Joe on Wednesday, 08/19/2020 @ 14:56pm |
Did the group Widespread Panic sing a song called "Hope In A Hopeless World"? That's the only Widespread Panic song I remember. Posted by Brian Schonour on Tuesday, 10/12/2021 @ 20:53pm |
I've been a nonstop spread head since seeing them live as a sophomore in high school back in 1996. The Boys are more than deserving of a RNRoll HOF induction. They are overlooked as songwriters in my opinion. Plus is anyone judging or voting on chart accomplishments anymore? I would think charts are just about to become extinct with the way music is platformed these days, so as far as live rock bands go, this band is at the top of the pyramid after 30 years of touring and selling strong.
