For anyone who is from the south, they know these guys are something special. The fact that they are not only going strong today, but they arguably better than ever is a good reason in itself that WP should be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

WSP has always played from the heart and soul. Their music has touched many in places that most will never experience much less be fortunate enough to even be told about. They have always tried to make music nightly not recreate it. Losing a player as great as Mike Houser would have devistated most bands but Panic reinvented itself with the help of Jimmy Herring arguably the best guitarest alive today. Now the music is alive again and it is stronger than ever!

They closed Bonnaroo 2011 with an epic 3 1/2 hour straight set. I had never heard of these guys (although most of them are older than me). What a show! Bruce Hornsby came out & jammed with them for a while. They have 2 awesome guitar players, I couldn't tell who was better. Let them get a hit song & I would put them in Hall.

Widespread is so deserving of this honor! Their craft of music writing is so amazing. Never tire of going to their shows. If you've never been, you don't know what you're missing!!!

Widespread Panic is so deserving of this honor. Theyve never had a huge hit, but they hold the record for most sold out shows at Red Rocks at 41 I believe. Great Band! Always puts on a great show.
