Should definitely go in as an early influence. She was a pop /jazz superstar long before that OTHER Nancy Wilson even started grade school !!!

She's not an early influence. She would be inducted in the main performer category. She qualifies. Check who else in on the 1987 list on the left of the screen.

I agree with you Roy !! Nancy should get in as a main performer. I'd be happy with any way she gets inducted ... as long as she's inducted !!

Bill G...gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Nancy Wilson's forte is almost exclusively jazz (she's one of the great jazz singers ever, I might add), and has been recognized and awarded as such.

I think she'd be a little out of place in a "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame", though. I just don't see a strong connection at all...

Hi, Gitarzan !! Good to hear from you again!!

Nancy wasn't just a jazz singer. She also had 22 hits on the R&B Charts and several Pop Chart Hits as well, as well as 70 best selling albums. She has also won 3 Grammy Awards ,has won numerous other awards, and is an accomplished actress, with numerous roles on TV
Before The Beatles came along , she was the biggest-selling artist in the history of Capitol Records ,and today, she's still the second-biggest seller in that label's history.
